Disasters constantly occur now, how can we win God’s protection?

The Lord Jesus said, “… Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand”(Matthew 4:17) Then what is true repentance? How should we do is in line with God’s will? Zhang MingEn was once a preacher of a family church. He has believed in the Lord for years and persisted in working, spreading the way of the Lord and expending himself for the Lord. After he accepted God’s end-time work, whatever duties that the church arranges for him, he is always willing to accept and obey. Based on these good behaviors, he thinks he has truly repented and has some transformation. Later, the church assigned him to hosting duties at his home. Outwardly, he is obedient to the church’s arrangement, however, there exists disobedience and dissatisfaction in his heart. His wife says that he merely has some change in external behaviors but is without true repentance. Zhang MingEn feels confused. As such, he has a fellowship with brother Zhao, a believer in the Church of Almighty God. Through reading a few paragraphs of words, Zhang MingEn comes to know no matter how many good behaviors one person has, that doesn’t represent he has true repentance.
