How can we confirm the Lord Jesus has already returned? The Bible prophesied, “But of that day and that hour knows no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father”(Mark 13:32). This verse tells us no one knows when the Lord will come, then how can we recognize Him if He comes? The scriptures say, “However, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come”(John 16:13), and “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches”(Revelation 3:22). Here mentions God’s utterance that will guide us to enter into all truth, which is to say, the Lord would express the truth to supply people when He returns. From this, we can see that where there is God’s utterance, there is God’s appearance. So, to tell whether He is the returned Lord Jesus, the key is to see whether He can express the truth.
