What is being saved? What is obtaining salvation? Previously, I thought as long as we confess and repent our sins before God, and are forgiven of our sins, we are then saved. However, when thinking of ourselves who still often sin due to being bounded by sinful nature, I feel confused, wonder how such kind of people can enter the kingdom of heaven. God is holy and righteous, God loathes our corrupt dispositions as well as impurities within us, such corrupt persons are not qualified to enter God’s kingdom. As long as we cast off our sins thoroughly and become a purified person, we can be praised by God and brought into a beautiful destination.
